Pixelbureau is a monthly online digest that gives high respect to the Filipino creativity and showcases these creations under one roof. Pixelbureau believes that the Filipino creativity brings out inspiration and deserves to be featured. The Site primarily features great web design works by Filipinos but not limiting itself to websites alone but features other field of interest where Filipinos excel. This includes photography, art, music, literature and movies. Every month, Pixelbureau gets to talk to the artist behind and present their inspiring works.
Pixelbureau's objective is to promote inspiring works, get to know what inspires the artists and hopefully inspire others to do the same to bring out the best of the Filipino in terms of design and creation.
Pixelbureau is a non-profit project site maintained by group of people, who themselves are involved in creating works in the new media and got inspired by Filipino's excellence in design and creation. The bureau also aspires to create a directory of creative filipino designs to showcase them to the world and to inspire other Filipino creative minds to excel and believe that they too can create and express themselves.
Pixelbureau is totally inspired by the Filipino Creation.

The Bureau started out as a personal project while surfing the net and being awed and inspired by the creative works of Filipino designers. The idea was simply to get up close and personal with these designers and learn what inspires them to create with the hope of inspiring other young and aspiring artist in the process.
The site conceptualization started in September 2003 with initial structure planning and site design test. The domain was registered and powered by our host mobilehive. The name pixelbureau was appropriate enough for the idea since we were coming up with an online digest featuring works of the new media. All digital works are made up of pixels and we intend to gather, if not all, the finest work created by Filipinos. Bureau just sounded right after pixel. It was a Bureau of Pixels, which was a team tracking down the finest sites and creations made by Filipinos. The two main content of the site are Behind the Site and Photo Click, both personal interviews with designers and artist. November 2003, Pixelbureau went online and somehow it was well accepted and slowly made its presence felt on the net. After only a year online, Pixelbureau made it to the roster by winning the Best Website in the Ezine Category at the 2004 Philippine Web Awards.
The site went offline for almost a year with serious contemplation of redefining the reason why the site was created. After some time of dissernment, Pixelbureau relaunched with help and support from friends both offline and online. The site went online again on February of 2006. Still with the same structure and purpose. There was a major reorganization and at present the site is managed by Trinity Creatives.
Pixelbureau is considered still on its infancy stage and a personal project but now with collaboration with a lot of generous souls who shared their talents and time because they too, simply believed in the Filipino creativity .... the creativity that inspires!
